During my recent visit, I decided to stay in the city, hoping I would be able to Holiday, like I did two decades back. In a couple of hours, I realized, I had moved from one City to just another. Looking for a quieter place, I phoned a friend, who after a pause recommended me Bison Valley. Must say you guys were courteous in responding, accepting my reservation and providing the right directions. My initial hesitancy at the time of entering the cottage, was quickly replaced by a sense of comfort about the basic facilities provided. I was too tired to even think why there was no Television in the cottage and hit the bed. While in Bangalore, it takes my family some effort to wake me up, must say we were pleasantly, pleasantly surprised to wake up to the tune of softly chirping and singing birds. Wondering what kind of birds were outside, we opened the door to step out and stand in amazement. Even 20 yrs back, I had not seen Conoor as lovely as it was on this day. I went clicking like there was no tomorrow. Believe me, my folks had to remind me about my morning tea. Satisfied with my friend's recommendation to stay here, I took a shower and came out to see the caretaker ready with the breakfast - Idlis, Pongal and golden crispy vada's...all relishing. The trip around the estate, visiting other colonial Bungalows, the camps and outdoor adventure sites, make me recommend Bison Valley confidently to other visitors of this site. What are the peak season and off season rates for all your home-stays? We dont have peak season or off season rates. The rates are same every time. Since we are charging nominal rates. Faq How many days advance booking needs to be done ? There is no mandatory for advance booking we book for first come first serve basis. People are started booking for this summer vacation. Faq Are the roads wide enough for a innova ? Do we need to trek from the parking place to the bungalow ? Till the bungalow door the vehicles can go. No need to trek. The road inside the estate is not so good. To be driven slowly. Also the roads are not so wide, but many of our guests have come in Innova car. Faq Is it suitable for elderly people like 60-70 age group ? Yes it?s very suitable for elderly people. Summer weather will be pleasant to stay over there. Faq Are there nearby hospitals/doctor in case of emergencies ? We do have estate doctor, who come twice in a week, to the estate dispensary. Also at 5 kms there is Govt Hospital (Kolakambay Govt Hospital) other wise we have to go to coonoor 24 kms. Faq You have mentioned different types of bungalow. Which of these are best and what is the difference among these ? We have 3 bungalows, called as Mango tree bungalow, Sultana and Pallaniappa bungalow.
